A workshop built on straight answers

Mainland Auto Clinic started in 2012 in a two-bay garage off Ikorodu Road. Fourteen years later we run a full-service workshop with 18 people, dealership-grade diagnostic equipment and a spray booth — but the promise has not changed: tell the customer the truth, use parts that last, charge what you quoted.

How we started

Mr. Chinedu Okafor trained as a mechanic in Lagos in the late nineties and spent a decade in dealership service bays before opening his own place in 2012. He had watched too many drivers pay for repairs they did not need, and too many workshops guess at faults because the right tools were expensive.

He bought a proper multi-brand scan tool before he bought a second lift. That decision set the tone. Word moved through Anthony, Ketu, Gbagada and Ilupeju the way it always does in Lagos — one satisfied driver telling another — and the two bays became six.

Today the workshop handles everything from a Corolla service to accident repair on a Land Rover, and a growing book of fleet contracts for logistics and ride-hailing operators across the Mainland.

What we stand for

Our mission is simple: make quality car care in Lagos predictable. These four rules decide how every job runs.

Honest diagnosis

We tell you what is actually wrong, what can wait, and what it will cost — in writing, before we touch anything.

Genuine parts

OEM or OEM-grade parts sourced from trusted suppliers, with the option to see the old part you paid to replace.

Fair pricing

Transparent labour rates published up front. No inflated bills, no surprise 'extra work' after the fact.

Respect for your time

Same-day turnaround on most jobs, progress updates on WhatsApp, and a car returned clean.

The team — 18 strong

Every technician is certified and works under a master technician. Nobody learns on your car.

Words from Mainland drivers

My check engine light had been on for months and two other workshops just cleared the code. Mainland Auto Clinic scanned it properly, showed me the faulty sensor readings and fixed it the same day. The car has been perfect since.
Adaeze NwosuGbagada · Toyota Corolla 2015
I was quoted almost double at a dealership. These guys used genuine parts, gave me a written estimate first and finished ahead of time. They even sent me photos while the work was going on.
Emeka BalogunAnthony · Mercedes-Benz C300
The AC in my CR-V had been warm for two harmattans. They found a small leak the others missed, fixed it and it's still ice cold a year later. Very professional people.
Funmilayo AdeyemiKetu · Honda CR-V 2013
Body work after a small accident on Ikorodu Road. The colour match is spot on — you cannot tell which panel was repaired. Took a day longer than promised, but the finish was worth it.
Ibrahim SanniOjota · Hyundai Elantra 2017
We run a logistics business and moved our whole fleet here two years ago. Scheduled servicing, one invoice, and our downtime has dropped noticeably. Reliable partners.
